Custom Shortcuts
Jerry Bustos
Jumping from cards using the default shortcut is really weird for me. I have to take my hand off my mouse to be able to do it. Would prefer a shortcut my left hand could easily do. I'd personally prefer something like 'shift+a or z' to toggle between apps :)

Yes, much needed feature.
Stop everything else. Do this one.
A simple keybind to turn Stack keyboard shortcuts on/off will do for me.
Try using StackBlitz from Stack, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Ankur Dutta: Agreed; either custom shortcuts, or a quick toggle-shortcuts keybind or setting is necessary.
Same with Google Docs. Ctrl + Shift + L, which on Google Docs, aligns something to the left, causes the "Go to" popup to appear.

Yes please!

+1 Yeah, I have lots of conflicts with other apps. Custom shortcuts is a must. If it's too much right now, maybe a switch to make the shortcuts only activate while the app is focused?

This may not be the right solution, but I just want to point on that on Mac, simply putting actions in the menu bar menus is enough to grant customizability from System Preferences (Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts)

Indeed!!, Also the close tabs shortcut would be really helpful!! , I would really like to use every hotkey I can use in the browser tabs. It would make my workflow in lightspeed.

I agree. I am Japanese. I use IME (Input Method Editor) when I type Japanese language.
When the IME shortcut keys are the same as the Stack shortcut keys, Stack malfunctions when I type letters as usual.
I would like to have the ability to change the shortcut keys in the stack and turn off the ones I don't use.

Yes, sometimes Stack has the same hotkeys as other apps (e.g. using ⌘P for quick switch just like Notion does) but that causes conflicts with those apps!

+1 A lot of the default shortcuts for navigating between windows and stacks are already used by my window manager. Would love to be able to customise shortcuts to avoid conflicts.
