I just upgraded to 3.30 and this started happening. I've read through the comments and am unable to get messages to load at all, even after un-install, using app-cleaner, or rolling back to 3.15. If I request the page as the mobile version, I get the "please update safari" message. If I load the desktop version, it's simply a white screen.

I use Stack SE 3.27.0.0. However, the problem was also present in earlier versions. It is difficult for me to determine from which version it appeared.
Edit:
I don't know what the situation is with the Stack version. It is possible that in the basic version the problem does not exist.

Michał Rzeźnik: this is super weird. Could not replicate neither on mac nor on Windows
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava: I am currently working on Stack SE. Not on the basic version of Stack.
However, I decided to see if the error occurs for me on the basic version, which I also had installed. I haven't run the basic version of Stack in a long time. So it hasn't updated either. Once it was up and running, the messages worked fine. The update notification popped up. I agreed to restart the app and install the update. After the reboot, the basic version also showed this problem. Unfortunately I did not check what version of Stack I had before the update.
At this point it looks like this on the basic version as attached.
Edit:
I add the situation on Stack SE.

@Ziko Sichinava:
I think I solved the problem.
I really didn't want to do this, because it involved logging into many different services again, but it seems that reinstalling completely solves the problem. This means that there must have been a problem in some update that has persisted until now.

Hi, Ziko Sichinava. Yes, still the same: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uoPL7j
Ziko Sichinava
lucash: Thanks for the video mate
Ziko Sichinava
lucash: Can you please help me to check the userAgent?
You should right click the card -> Inspect Element -> Go to console tab -> type navigator.userAgent -> press Enter
l
lucash
Ziko Sichinava: Sure!
Ziko Sichinava
lucash: Thans mate.
Everything looks correct 😕
This console belongs to that error page right?
l
lucash
Ziko Sichinava: Right, it's for that page.
I thought maybe it could have something to do with our Barracuda firewall. But the page works on Chrome.
Michał Rzeźnik
lucash: If possible, please check if reinstalling Stack would fix the problem. It worked for me.
l
lucash
Michał Rzeźnik: Thank you! That solved it for me as well.
Now I'm restoring my cards.
Ziko Sichinava
lucash Michał Rzeźnik good to hear that you've fixed it but it means that you can not replicate it anymore right? :)))
We will release a possible fix on SE today and would like to test if its fixed.
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava: To reproduce this you would probably have to install some old version of the program and update it.
I didn't reinstall Stack SE but only the basic version. So on Stack SE I am still getting this error.
Let me know when the update comes out. Once I install the update I will let you know if the problem is resolved :)
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava: I saw that there was an update on Stack SE. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The error still occurs.
For now, I will be working on the basic reinstalled version and only look at the SE from time to time. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
Unless we assume that the bug is resolved and to fix it we just need to reinstall the program.

Hi Michał Rzeźnik
Just to clarify, is it working on Stack Production and does not work on Stack SE?
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava: There is a problem in both. The only difference is that on Stack Production I did a reinstall, which solved the problem. Reinstallation, not update.
On Stack SE I did not do a reinstall to see if the problem would be fixed with updates.
I'm pretty sure that if I did a reinstall on Stack SE, that would also solve the problem.
So as I wrote. The only option to reproduce this problem is to install some old version of Stack, add a Google Messenger tab and update Stack to the latest version.
New users will not have this problem. It only affects older users who update Stack regularly.
Ziko Sichinava
Hey Michał Rzeźnik,
We just released a new update on SE where it should be fixed finally. Can you please check and let me know if it works for you in the latest version of Stack SE?
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava: It works :) Do the same on Stack Production and you can probably mark it as "solved" :)
Ziko Sichinava
Michał Rzeźnik: Great. We will release it today
Michał Rzeźnik
Ziko Sichinava:
Hi :)
The login problem has been resolved, but it appears to be only temporary. Currently only a clean page is shown. Without any content. Reinstallation does not help. It looks exactly the same on the product version as on SE :(
Edit:
Everything is working again :)
